Vision Therapy

If you need vision therapy for vision related reading or academic difficulties, or post brain-injury vision rehabilitation services, I highly recommend Dr. Carl Garbus with Family Vision Care in Valencia. He will be working in conjunction with three of my former vision therapists who are now offering tutoring services in the Bakersfield area.

General Optometry and Kids Vision

I recommend Southwest Eye Care in Bakersfield for exceptional primary eye care. They have great medical optometrists with all the current technology to make sure your eyes are healthy and you are seeing as well as possible in a friendly, professional practice.
One of their doctors is practicing with an emphasis on pediatrics, although not vision therapy at this time. If you have a child who just needs a good eye exam or who is struggling in school and may need vision therapy, this is a good place to start to see if they may need glasses before you travel to Valencia to see about vision therapy.
